Computer memory

Main storage is also called memory or internal memory.RAM is excess memory,and is the basic kind of internal memory.RAM is called “random acess”because the processor or computer can access any location in memory.RAM has been made from reed relays,transistor,integrated circuits,magnetic core,or any thing that can hold and store binary values.Must modern RAM is made from integrated circuits.At one time the most common kind of memory in mainframes was magnetic core,so many older programs will refer to main memory as core memory even when the RAM is made from more modern technololy.static RAM is called static because it will continue to hold.

              CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT(CPU)

The cpu is the portion of a computer system that carries out the instruction of the computer program,and  is the primary element carrying out the computer function.the central processing unit carries out each instruction of the program in sequence,to perform the basic arithmetical,logical and output/input operation of the system.this term has been in use in the computer industry at least since the early 1960s.The form design and implement CPUs has changed dramatically since the earliest examples,but their fundamental operation remains much the same.Early CPUs were custom designed as a part of a larger ,sometime one kind of computer.

There are many advantage of the computer in  this modern technology them are as follows we can see in the world what is happening by sitting in the chair this is because of development of the sceince which is related with computer.there are many things which is given by the development of the computer some is bad for human and some of is useful in the modern technology.nowadays the development of the computer has become a part of the humanbengs .nowadays the human brain is totally converted into an luxurious life which is bad for human though it has many advantage.

A computer is device that accepts information(in the form of digitalised data) and manipulates it for some result based on program or sequence of instructions on how the datais tobe processed.complex computer also include the means of storing  data(include the program which is alsoform of data)for some necessary duration.A program may be invariable and built into the computer or different program may be provided to the computer(loaded into its storage and then started by an user).Todays computers have both kinds of kinds of programming.Modern computer inherently follow the idea of the stored program laid out by John von Neumann in 1945.

There are a number of ways to get data back out of the computer.one of them is right belowand that’s the monitor .It has a screen that is similar to  a television that shows you information from the computer ,so it is an output device.The monitor and the part of computer that run it are known as video.Another common output device is a printer ,which of course put the computers output on paper for you.Some devices are both input and output ,like the floppy diskette mentioned earlier.If you have a modem or network connection,information can go both ways over the line so it both input and output.

The physical components from which a computer is constructed is called “hardware”.Most computers have four types of hardware component:CPU,input ,output and memory .The CPU executes programs which tell  the computer what to do. Input and output divices allow the computer to communicate with the user and the outside world.There are several kinds of memory /storage –fast , expensive,short term memory to hold intermediate results,and slower ,cheaper, long-term memory /storage to hold programs and data between jobs.he command line is the shared ground between human and machine.When we type in an instructions,in code ,and there are different languages that the computer understands, we get a reply.
